Police in New York are looking for a man accused of stabbing his girlfriend in the neck before he drove her car to a motel and stabbed her 10 times, authorities said.
Authorities said the victim was in the vehicle with the man, who is believed to be in his late 30s, when he allegedly pulled into the parking lot of a bar and stabbed his girlfriend at a barbershop, New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton said in a statement.
The suspect then drove the car to the motel, where he stabbed the victim in the chest, neck and face, Bratton’s statement said.
The man then drove to a nearby motel and allegedly stabbed another woman, who was driving a pickup truck.
The truck driver stopped at the scene and arrested the man at the motel.
The New York State Police Homicide Squad and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating.
