Georgia car rental companies, including Hertz Car Rentals, are expanding to metro Atlanta and surrounding counties.
The company said it will operate a new car rental program in Atlanta, adding two new car rentals in Atlanta and one in Brunswick County.
The company, which operates in the Atlanta metro area, announced in a statement Wednesday that it would begin leasing cars from a new company in the city of Atlanta, Georgia.
The car rental company is Hertz, a rental company based in Birmingham, Alabama.
Hertz said in the statement that the new company will operate in metro Atlanta from November 2019 to March 2020.
It is not yet known how much the company will charge.
Hertz said it plans to offer cars in the range of $1,500 to $5,000.
Shetz also said that the company plans to expand to a second city in Georgia in 2021.
A spokesperson for Hertz Cars in Birmingham said the company is working with other Georgia car rentals companies to expand in the metro area.
“We look forward to partnering with other car rental businesses in the coming years and expanding our business in Georgia,” Hertz spokesperson, Emily Mims, said in a written statement.
“The addition of this new company, Hertz car rentals, in metro areas in Georgia, will enable Hertz to continue to grow our brand and expand our network of customers across the state,” she added.
